All current information will be announced on the official competition website, on social media, and at the event venue.
Online preliminary round : Participants must upload videos with the pieces demanded to qualify for the following round. The video and the title should follow this format:
・”2024 1st VMIPC – Participant’s Name”.
・The video should be in landscape format with a recommended resolution of HD (1080p) or higher.
・The video must not be edited and should not exceed 15 minutes in duration.
・The hands and the right side of the body must be completely captured in the video.
The jury votes unanimously using a total 100-point system.
The jury selects 15 participants from the preliminary round to participate in the semi-final, and from these 15, 4 participants will be chosen to perform in the final.
The jury’s decisions are final and incontestable.
All pieces must be performed from memory.
The order of performances in the semi-finals is determined by the organizer.
The order of performances in the final will be determined on-site.
As a result of unavoidable circumstances, such as accidents, illnesses, or special situations, the order of schedules might be rearranged.
Each participant has 10 minutes of warm-up time before the competition. All competitions are open to the public.
Video recordings or audio recordings without prior permission are not allowed in the competition premises. The organizer is the only authorized entity for video or audio recordings and may use these recordings for promotional and commercial purposes without obtaining the consent of the participants. Participants agree that the organizer owns all recordings and audio materials obtained during the competition.
Participants (including parents and teachers of minors) must understand and accept the rules and regulations of the competition. In case of violation of these rules, the organizer and the jury reserve the right to disqualify the participants.
The organizer reserves the final right to interpret the competition rules and regulations. In the event of disputes related to this event, the decision of the organizer is final and not subject to challenge.
